The comparison between startups and established companies is today one of the central themes for understanding the evolution of organizational models, corporate culture, and the ability to generate innovation.

To move beyond clichés and oversimplified narratives, Clutch conducted a survey involving more than 300 professionals from both the startup ecosystem and corporate organizations, with roles ranging from junior management to executive positions and a high level of sectoral diversity.

The result is a concrete snapshot of how the two ecosystems operate today: strengths, critical issues, people’s expectations, and areas of potential virtuous cross-pollination between agility and structure. As in sport, it’s not who runs the fastest that wins, but who reads the game best and knows how to adapt their strategy.
